Education Development Executive - The South of England Agricultural Society

The South of England Agricultural Society is a charity that has been funding and supporting agricultural education and countryside learning for over 50 years. We are now looking for someone with an accomplished background in teaching or educational administration to organise, oversee and implement the Society’s programme of educational activities, events and initiatives.

You will be responsible for:
 Establishing and nurturing relationships with teachers, schools, colleges and aligning the educational activities of the Society to their curriculums and courses
 Organising the Society’s education displays and activities at our events including the South of England Show
 Organising and working with the Education Committee to fulfil and develop the Society’s charitable objectives
 Liaising with the Society’s marketing team and PR and marketing agency to ensure effective communication of our educational projects and activities
 Creating and strengthening relationships with associated educational establishments and organisations; promoting knowledge, understanding, careers and engagement
 Professionally representing the Society at internal and external events to promote the charity and its educational work
What we’re looking for from you:
 A successful track record in teaching and/or teaching administration
 Proactive approach in leading and developing projects and initiatives
 Ability to work to tight deadlines and agreed standards
 Experience of running or managing events
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 An aptitude to work with volunteers

Location: Ardingly, West Sussex Hours: Part-time (3 days pw)
Contract: Permanent

Are you a Relate trained counsellor? Would you like to give something back to the community by offering your counselling skills to support our vision that healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving community?

We would love to hear from you, whether you can offer a couple of hours or more a week. We are looking for couple, family and young people’s counsellors, as well as those trained in delivering psycho sexual therapy.
We are able to offer positions in Crawley, Horsham and Chichester.

Cafe Assistant - Groundwork South

We are looking to recruit weekend staff to work in our busy Beautiful Café bar in Tilgate Park.

This is an exciting, flexible opportunity for bubbly enthusiastic people who have experience in either catering / waitressing/food running or Bar work although full training will be provided.

You will be responsible for assisting the Café manager with café operations, which includes preparing food and drink, ensuring café is well stocked and providing a safe and clean environment for both staff and customers.

Working within your team, you will assist in marketing the café, providing members of the public with information about the Centre and ensuring café is provided for during event programmes.
