Introduction
Crawley Neighbourhood Network exists to build partnership between all groups working for the benefit of senior people in our town.
We work together with the Community Partnership Team and health and social care professionals to:
- Improve access to health, information & Services
- Encourage and promote volunteering as part of a healthy lifestyle
- Develop the current range of activities and services that older people need in their community.
- Identify individual needs and discover ways to address them.
The Network works with a consortium of 10 organisations representing the diversity of the communities within Crawley;
- Crawley Council for Volunteer Services
- Age Concern
- WRVS
- Swallows over 50
- Sikh Community
- Diego Garcian Society
- 4Sight
- Gurjar Hindu Union
- Alzheimer’s Society
- Anchor Staying Put
The Network team seeks to engage with the local neighbourhoods in three areas; networking, sustaining and engagement.
Network team is building the network
Business team is building sustainability, assisting funding and business links for all groups.
Engagement team is partnering existing groups, drawing them together and moving forward.
The Community Partnership team will provide a single point of contact for all senior people looking for assistance in the areas of health, benefits & social care.
