Fundraiser Co-ordinator

Are you confident and organised with an ability to work in a team? The Crawley POPP Project Business Team seeks an individual with an interest in fundraising and supporting older people to co-ordinate fundraising initiatives, manage relationships and promote funding opportunities for older people's groups within the project.

Marketing and fundraising officer

Crawley Council for Voluntary Service has a vacancy for an experienced fundraiser to assist local groups with their fundraising activities and to develop new income streams for the voluntary sector in Crawley. You will need to be a confident communicator, able to clearly express yourself, both verbally and in writing. You will need to be able to assist local groups in putting together a budget and submitting grant applications and to have a good understanding of the charity sector and the legislation that covers it.

Neighbourhood Network Administration Officer

Age Concern West Sussex, on behalf of Mid Sussex Networks for Older People, is looking for an efficient, organised, IT-competent administrator to assist the Neighbourhood Network Co-ordinators in this busy Network supporting older people across Mid Sussex. The project is part of the West Sussex Pilot Project [POPP] Patnerships for Older People Projects, and is based in Burgess Hill. This is a fixed term contract until 30th September 2010.

Crawley Community Transport

Crawley Community Transport is seeking children’s escorts for school minibus runs transporting children who cannot readily access other forms of transport due to illness, disability or learning difficulties.

This is a part-time role, in term time only, with the runs normally to school in morning and returning during the afternoon each day. Ideally the same escort should do both runs daily, but there may be some flexibility. The normal hours per session would be 2 to 2.5.

The role is to ensure the safety and well being of the children and ideally requires experience in working with children of all ages. First aid skills are a requirement, but training will be given for the right person. A candidate must have a patient, calm and understanding nature, plus be able to take control of non routine situations when they occur.

This role is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and registration with the Independent Safeguarding Authority, in accordance with the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
