Crawley Community & Voluntary Service (CCVS)
CCVS is an independent charity that offers advice, information, help and support to local charities, voluntary and community groups. We make sure that the interests of the voluntary sector are taken into account by local government and other statutory authorities.
Volunteer Crawley now hold drop in sessions at Crawley Library and the Town Hall. This is as well as the Information Point at The Orchard
The next CCVS training course is Supporting Disabled Volunteers and coincides with Volunteers' Week on 1st July
Crawley Social Prescribing Project is a pilot starting in October 2016 and we would like the voluntary and community sector to be a part of it.
Last year, CCVS provided support to 136 local organisations. This included securing £44,195 funding for the local VCS, hosting 21 forum meetings, placing 140 volunteers in roles with local charities, providing meeting rooms at The Orchard for 45 different local voluntary and community groups.
